Welcome to your first of many steps into the world of Ayurveda; a journey to invest in your health and wellness. I am here to help guide you through making the right choices, using the ancient Indian science of Ayurveda, for optimal health physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Ayurveda has the tools to aid in healthy digestion, sleep, everyday life style improvements, and overall wellness for your entire body, emotions, and thoughts. The daily habits we create shape our life and how we feel whether sleeping or awake. Together, we will build a way of life for you that is sustainable and well managed; to thrive as long as you are prepared to put in the work. This is no quick fix, no magic pill or carpet ride. However, you will be supported along the way with some laughs sprinkled in. I can't wait to meet you and start creating your personal daily plan for optimal health. For example, I provide supportive morning routines to start your day feeling refreshed and vibrant with yoga postures, meditation, proper nutrition, and pooping (very important in Ayurveda!). Together we will learn about your needs and how to support your daily habits in a way that brings more ease and full body wellness.

Why choose me as your Ayurveda Health Counselor and Yoga Specialist?
I received a certificate as an Ayurveda Yoga Specialist and Ayurveda Health Counselor through the Himalayan Institute. When you work with me, I'll provide you with a customized amount of hand-holding required to build a daily routine that moves you from dis-ease to ease. I am also passionate about bringing awareness to the thoughts and behaviors you've normalized as "healthy" and help you learn how to listen to your body and take action to bring your body to optimal health. It takes a commitment, as there is no easy pill to "fix" everything, but the benefits are long lasting with no side effects!
I have also been teaching yoga since 2013 and enjoy incorporating the Ayurvedic knowledge of seasonal changes into the monthly yoga sequences. I know it's intimidating to be the "new" person in a yoga class, so I'll do my best to make you feel welcome and guide you through your yoga practice to spark bliss. If you're looking to bring yourself into balance, body, mind and soul, on every level- this is something you should consider. I now know the best types of foods to eat (and when) for my type and my health conditions, the optimal times to eat those meals, the best time to get up in the morning and go to bed at night, as well as a few little meditation and breathing techniques to calm my anxiety. And she still has more to share with me!!!!

What is Ayurveda I asked? Well, It is simply a different way to think. It is simple changes to your everyday life that leaves you feeling better. It is ancient beliefs and health remedies that our grandparents lived by, but we have lost. It is common sense. Faith’s book club offers support and knowledge, while it teaches simple changes we can all make. Drink more water, eat foods with the seasons, balance your circadian rhythm, listen to your inner self. It addresses symptoms like why we have gas, why we don’t sleep well, why we don’t poop. It has changed my life. Some days I may only conquer 1 of the 10 steps, some days I don’t even realize I am doing them. Faith reminds us a 1% improvement is still an improvement. What I have learned from her is how to hear my body. When I am out of sync, I feel it and now I have the tools to get myself back on track. Faith is an awesome coach. And I will be forever grateful I found her class.
