Body Thrive Book Club - 12 Week Series

Begin the journey of health and wellness with a certified Ayurveda Health Counselor (that's me, Faith Miller) to help guide you through the habits mapped out in the book, Body Thrive, by Cate Stillman*.  You'll also be part of a group of like-minded people that want to uplevel their health and learn the habits to build and maintain their best health possible. This investment is only for people ready to make lifestyle changes and who are sick of not living their fullest life.

  • We meet every Saturday from January 4, 2020 to March 28, 2020 from 11am to 1pm at Rick's Saddle Shop in Cream Ridge to go through 10 habits, one per week with orientation and conclusion meetings.
  • The book, Body Thrive, by Cate Stillman is required for the course.  You can find the book on Amazon here.  The book club entry fee does not include the price of the book.  Please purchase the book as soon as possible to start reading up to the first chapter (more details during orientation).
  • The book club registration fee includes:
    • A workbook (link will be included in a follow up email once purchase is complete)
    • Tons of goodies throughout or time together
    • Guest speakers
    • A private Facebook group to keep in touch between meetings and beyond
    • Multiple methods of support to keep you on task with a community built around this book club
    • These meetings provide tangible ways to implement these changes into your life.

The Body Thrive Book Club was a very unique experience in changing life habits. The weekly step process is gentle enough to promote positive growth, but focused enough to make a real difference for those to genuinely participate. The weekly discussion about the best ways to put the new changes in place were enormously supportive and helpful. Faith is a real treasure to work with. Her warm, genuine demeanor and naturally effervescent personality makes her the perfect facilitator for a group like this. What is Ayurveda I asked? Well, It is simply a different way to think.  It is simple changes to your everyday life that leaves you feeling better. It is ancient beliefs and health remedies that our grandparents lived by, but we have lost. It is common sense. Faith’s book club offers support and knowledge, while it teaches simple changes we can all make. Drink more water, eat foods with the seasons, balance your circadian rhythm, listen to your inner self. It addresses symptoms like why we have gas, why we don’t sleep well, why we don’t poop.  It has changed my life.  Some days I may only conquer 1 of the 10 steps, some days I don’t even realize I am doing them. Faith reminds us a 1% improvement is still an improvement.  What I have learned from her is how to hear my body. When I am out of sync, I feel it and now I have the tools to get myself back on track.  Faith is an awesome coach. And I will be forever grateful I found her class.  - AC
